This is a <i>huge<\/i> time sink; be careful!<br \/>\n<br \/>\nGray is co-founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolfram.com\/\">Wolfram Research<\/a>, best known as the makers of <a href=\"http:\/\/wolfram.com\/products\">Mathematica<\/a>. He is the author of several books and is well-known for his amazing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theodoregray.com\/PeriodicTable\/index.html\">Periodic Table Table<\/a>, for which he won the <a href=\"http:\/\/theodoregray.com\/PeriodicTable\/IgNobel\/index.html\">2002 IgNobel Prize in Chemistry<\/a>. As an old-time fan of the periodic table of elements, I was enchanted with the photos and stories about each element. I carried a small periodic table in my pocket all through secondary school and had it pretty well memorized at one time; before discovering computers I even considered working in chemistry.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThere are movies and even sound samples, as well as interesting stories such as this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theodoregray.com\/PeriodicTable\/Stories\/SacksVisit\/index.html\">visit from Oliver Sacks<\/a>, one of my favorite authors.
